R1Concepts 2005+ Ford Brake Rotors
These rotors were purchased due to the track day that pretty much ate my stock setup. I opted to buy Ford OEM brake pads to go along with these rotors due to low noise and dust. I must say for the money I thought I was taking a chance, but I am pleased with the results.18" Polished Bullitts with R1 rotors
Vented, Slotted, and Cross-Drilled
The rotors are powder coated black on the hub and on the outside where the venting is, but as you may notice there are some slight areas where oxidation occurs. This is much better than stock. The braking is slightly better than stock and the wet weather performance is excellent. I have to say that for the money, the cosmetic affect and slight improvement in performance are well worth it. I now have over ten thousand miles on these brakes with no issues. I found these rotors originally on eBay, but R1CONCEPTS.COM is a direct site. They fit with the stock calipers and brake pads. I bought the universal tool for retracting the rear caliper ($9.99) at Autozone and I was bedding these babies in within two hours.
